About our store:

Established in 2003, Rivendell, much like its fictional namesake, is a hidden vestige of wonderment in the secluded New England town of Rehoboth , Massachusetts . Since its inception, the store has provided it's clientele with a high quality line of gaming products, collectibles, and gift items, with many of its wares being unique to the region or exclusive to the store. Both regular customers and new are always impressed with the continual influx of the fantastic, the wild, the strange, and the arcane.

At the same time, the store's owner, Mr. Rob Laliberte, has made it his mission to provide the highest level of support to the local gaming community. Events are always welcome in the store, and it is often that you will find Rob bringing out tables into the shop's retail space to make room enough for those looking to enjoy an afternoon of friendly competition or team gaming. One would be hard pressed to find a day in which there is at least one gamer waiting for a challenge in store. So if you're from the area or just passing through, by all means stop in; pick up contests are the order of the day. If you need a place to hold an event, please drop us an email, stop in, or give us a call, and we can see about making arrangements to make your group welcome. And for those looking to procure hard to find titles, special orders are welcome and thoroughly researched- if it's not in stock, but is still in print (and many times even if not), just ask, and it can be made available for you.

The store is closed on Mondays.

As presently constituted, rivendellbooksandgames.com merely scratches the surface of what we have to offer in our physical location. Over the coming months we aim to bring a great amount of expansion to this website, including:

1. a shopping cart and database system to facilitate easier online ordering,
2. an user submitted events bulletin board or calendar so that local gamers can schedule tournaments, game days, demos, and campaign sessions,
